Duties as the Township Clerk include serving the Township Board as the keeper of all official records. The Township Clerk has custody of all records, books and papers of the Township. The Clerk must file & retain all certificates of oaths and other papers required to be filed in her office. 

The Township Clerk is responsible for the administration of elections and voter registration in accordinance with State & Federal Law. 

The Clerk also responds to requests for information in compliance with the Freedom of Information Act. 

Notary services are available Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Absentee applications for registered voters who are on our permanent list were mailed out January 10, 2020 for the Presidential Primary Election on March 10, 2020. If you have not received your application or would like one sent to you, please contact the Clerk's Office & we will get one sent out to you. Or if you prefer you can click on the green button below for to print one out.  Please complete the application & drop off or mail to our office located at 1539 S. Bartlett Rd., St Clair, MI 48079.

For Township Residents who reside in the East China School District area there will be a millage proposal as well on the ballet. Marysville School District area does NOT have any proposals. 

Please note if you wish to vote in the Presidential Primary - you MUST mark on the application Democratic Party  or Republican Party. This is mandatory. 

If you are in the East China School District & wish to vote for the millage ONLY, not the Presidential Primary - you can request a ballot for the millage only. You can mark the box that states "Ballot without Presidential Primary".
